Stress Free Vacation
My wife and I recently concluded our vacation, and this was our first experience with a cat sitter. We’ve had cats as pets since 1992, and we have never done anything but board them while we were away. Like many of your customers, we are very protective of our 4 indoor girls, so it took some convincing on my part to take this step. As it turns out, we should have done this years ago.
Our Sitter’s introductory visit to our home put some initial apprehension to rest. She was obviously very concerned about our cats and their well-being. You can’t fake that, and we immediately had a sense that we were making the right decision. While we were away, she kept us updated with text messages and photos, and we can’t begin to express our gratitude for that. When we arrived home, we saw her daily notes that she maintained while we were away, which was icing on the cake. She is fantastic, as is Happy Tails! We will most definitely be customers again.

Worry free while we’re at work
We’ve been using Happy Tails for dog walking in the middle of the day while we’re at work and it’s been a godsend. We get little notes letting us know how our dog was during the visit. We have been very impressed with the level of service and consistency. It’s not easy to “let go and trust” someone to come and take care of your pet in your absence but we know our pup is in the best of care. I called Happy Tails to pet sit for the first time over two years ago after I rescued my third German Shorthaired Pointer, who did not get along with my other two dogs. I needed a pet sitter who could handle two large dogs fighting for Alpha in the house. They had to be willing to continue training as I was doing it, as well as be confident and caring. I interviewed four pet sitting companies before I hired Happy Tails. As soon as we met I felt at ease, knowing that Katrina and her staff would be my “allies” in caring for my three dogs. I have known the owners of Happy Tails for many years, and know their own animals are their children. They border on “paranoid” (in a GOOD way) when it comes to taking care of animals. In addition to years of experience, they also are able to offer specialty care such as giving Insulin shots to many diabetic clients. They pay attention to every small detail. They do not mark their vehicle with their business logo so that passers-by your home will not know you aren’t home when they are babysitting your animals. Every detail thought of and executed, which puts them above the rest. Always very quick to call you back or text you when you call to check on your animal, even for those who like to call several times a day, like I do.

Perfect for your needs
I have been a customer of Happy Tails for over 3 years. When I started with them I had 3 dogs, 2 cats, and MANY hamsters. They came in, took notes on ALL details about my “kids” and my house. Since day one, I never had to worry. If there was ever any question on something, they don’t hesitate to call and ask (unfortunately one hamster died while I was away but when they called I explained how I was expecting that any day!). Now I have 5 dogs, 1 cat and a tank full of fish. Everybody gets the attention they need, plus they stay in the comfort of their own home, with their own food, and they can lay on my bed and not a concrete floor! Add to that the security of having activity in my home while I am away, definitely puts my mind at ease. It’s just a bonus the hundreds of dollars I am saving by not having to pay for a kennel.
