Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers
I’ve always had one or more dogs for as long as I remember, as well as fish, birds and cats. Love of animals came from my father (whose favorite pet was his beloved cow who pulled a wagon for him and his sisters!) and seemingly intensified with me. I know the feelings and concerns of pet owners, and make every effort to give the care and attention that would be missed when the family is away.
I’ve personally had dogs covering a wide size range, including several mixed breeds, a Collie, Pekingese, Terriers, Pugs, and an Olde English Bulldog. Right now, I have Sophie, a Silky Terrier and Simon, a Black Cat. Sophie is a five year old rescue and Simon was rescued as an alley-cat kitten, about 14 years ago. “In the wild”, we have feeding stations that attract more than a dozen species of birds, and we have a “yard-turtle” (spotted box turtle) who makes regular rounds in our backyard and patio, collecting low-hanging tomatoes and pieces of cantaloupe in season – and never gets in a hurry.
My husband and I have lived in Roswell for over 30 years and have two grown sons who have now brought grand-dogs into the family. I’ve been affiliated with Happy Tails for about four years, and I find real pleasure in caring for all the pups, kitties and other little family members. My usual areas include Roswell, Alpharetta and Johns Creek. I’ve never yet met a pet that I couldn’t get along with, and always enjoy making new acquaintances!
I provide Pet Sitting and Dog walking Services in the Alpharetta and John’s Creek areas. I grew up in Atlanta and have lived in Alpharetta for 16 years. I am married with two daughters in high school and we currently have 4 dogs (all rescues) and 2 cats. We have also had hamsters, guinea pigs, mice and fish. I am an animal lover who has never been without a pet. My girls and I have volunteered with a dog rescue group for several years and we have fostered many dogs ranging in age from newborn puppies to senior citizens. We have had a dog with diabetes and had to give her insulin twice a day so I am familiar with giving shots. I know what it’s like to leave your pet. You wonder what they are thinking, when you will be back – my goal is to make them happy and relaxed so you won’t have any worries and neither will your pet. Caroline is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I’ve lived in the Alpharetta and Roswell area for almost 20 years, and I provide pet sitting, dog walking, overnight care as well as other services as needed. Having been around pets for most of my life, there’s not much that I have not seen or experienced at least once.
I’ve grown up around different pets for my entire life, from horseback riding to parenting ferrets, birds, snakes, cats and dogs of all sizes from terriers to my parents’ mastiffs. I wanted to be as well rounded in the animal industry as possible, so I went to academies for both dog training as well as dog and cat grooming, learning everything I could possibly learn to help parents and pets alike have the best relationship they could.
My own three pets are the biggest part of my little family. Our family consists of myself, my American Shorthair cat Simon, my lab-pug mix Shadow and my rescued lab-mix Winston. Shadow is definitely a mama’s girl, and her name fits, because she often is my little-black-shadow. Simon has an attitude well befitting a cat in a multi-dog household, often sharing a pet-bed with the dogs or sleeping on top of them. Winston is a little special though, having had severe damage to his left shoulder from an unknown source as a young puppy, he required a steel plate to be surgically implanted before I adopted him. Shadow definitely helps Winston to keep active though, and never leaves him far behind. I look forward to meeting you and your family! Maggie is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide dog walking and pet sitting in the Johns Creek and Alpharetta areas. I have had a strong love for animals all of my life and have been pet sitting for years. I grew up in Oklahoma City and moved to the Atlanta area in 1990. I studied at the University of Oklahoma. I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 23 years and I have one son, Ryan, who attends Georgia Tech. I have two dogs, Annie, a black lab rescue and Lily, a Maltipoo. We also have a wide variety of wild life in our own backyard and besides our beautiful birds we feed our long time deer who return to see us often. We also have two geese that return every year to see us during mating season who we feed until they have their babies and move on until the next year. I am an avid walker and have walked several 5k and 10k races. Besides my love for exercise I enjoy traveling, gardening, cooking and volunteering. Julie is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services in Alpharetta, Milton, and Cumming. I have always loved animals and they have always loved me. I started asking for my own pet as soon as I could talk, even though my parents always had poodles, that I loved, I wanted my own pets. My parents relented when I was five and made me responsible for all my pets to follow. My first pet was a parakeet. I had several after that, and then I moved on to hamsters. I had several of those too. I also had a couple of turtles. I moved into the big leagues of pet ownership when I got a horse for my 13th birthday. I showed competitively and I even took her with me to college. My twelfth year must have been outstanding because I was lucky and also got my first cat when I was 13 – Kashmir, a huge, furry, gray ball of love. I’ve had many dogs and cats over the years. I’m very fortunate that my first 2 dogs, both big dogs, lived to be 15 years old. I have also had two cats that have reached 14 years, and both cats required daily medications and subcutaneous fluids. I am very well versed in senior animal care.
My love and connection with animals led me to begin pet sitting and walking for our neighbors when I was ten. When I was in high school I worked for a veterinarian with a small animal practice for two years. I loved animals and science and by then I knew that I wanted to go to Veterinary School. I graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and a concentration in Reproductive Studies. I was hired by Century City Hospital’s IVF department and worked in human infertility for 5 years. I then became a certified Emergency Medical Technician and began working on film productions as the Set Medic.
I was born and raised, mostly, in California, I met my Georgia Native husband in CA in 2000. By 2002 we were married, in 2004 we had our only child, a son. We visited GA often as my husband’s family is here and I fell in love with this area. In 2007 we moved to Alpharetta. We currently live in Milton with our son, Braden, and our 2 rescues – our dog, Johnny Cash, and cat, MiMi.
I am neat, clean, organized, and a very caring person. I know how much we all love our pets and the worry involved in leaving them, whether for one day or an extended vacation. I am very well qualified to take care of your pets, and love them like my own, and leave you all worry free.
I provide dog walking and pet sitting Roswell, Alpharetta, and Milton areas. I have always been around all sort of pets, from tiny little creatures to our slippery friends snakes. I grew up with all sort of pets. For many years friends have asked me to look after their babies when they have gone away on holiday, from just a couple of hours to a full month. Four legged companions are part of our families, I believe they should be as well taken care of as we do our two-legged children, they need love, kisses, exercise, playtime as much as we do, my philosophy to treat all creatures with love. I moved from Utah to Roswell a few years ago, where I live with my husband of 11yrs my son David and our lab mix Shubie who joined us 4 years ago and has since taken a very comfortable position as my second son. I am very active and love being outside. I have a medical background and very comfortable with any sort of medical necessity, I also volunteer at the humane society. I am really looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

I have had a love for animals all of my life. As a child I always wanted a pet. In high school my family took in our tabby cat, Ronin, and a few years later a neighbor left her two Bengal cats, Safari and Ducati, to my family that have ruled the perimeter of the house ever since. While living in my apartment a friend needed a home for a black kitten, Charlie, and once I met her I couldn’t leave with out her. I refer to these four cats as my babies and I can’t imagine a life without them.
I have almost ten years of customer service experience. I am friendly, hard working, and a caring person. I enjoy helping people and caring for animals has always been a joy for me.
I provide pet sitting, dog walking and sleepovers in Johns Creek, Alpharetta, and Duluth. I’ve enjoyed spending time around pets my whole life, I grew up always having dogs and cats in my home. I have been walking and pet sitting since I was young.

I provide Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services in the Peachtree Corners, Berkeley Lake, and Norcross areas. I always had pets growing up, including Guinea pigs, Old English Sheep dogs, German Shepherds, a Burmese Mountain Dog, a big Tonkinse kitten and a Cheshire cat. I’ve shared my home with a Great Dane who loved lounging on the couch, needless to say there was only room for one! I’ve enjoyed horseback riding and family holidays to a Colorado ranch. I’ve raised puppies both pure bred and mixed breeds from the Humane Society.
I enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds and training my dogs to be good citizens in my neighborhood. I’ve always had a special affinity with animals of all sorts. I’ll be conscientious to your furry family member’s needs and will provide the loving care they deserve. Your pets will be in good hands and you’ll be stress free while you’re away! Kimberly is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I have always had a enduring love for all animals, be it domesticated or out in nature. Some of my fondest childhood memories involve rescue and rehabilitation of local wildlife as well as love and nurturing of our family pets. I still enjoy bird watching and feeding the creatures my backyard has to offer.
Most currently I worked at a pet boarding and daycare facility where I became pet first aid certified and further educated in the training, behaviors and friendships between dogs in a social environment.
I believe humans need the unconditional love that our pets provide us and that without them there is just something missing from our lives. I embrace the opportunity to meet and love your furry family members as if they were my own.
I provide Pet Sitting Services in Alpharetta, Milton, and Cumming. I have lived in the area for the past 15 years and there’s really no place like home. I have a Golden Doodle and 2 cats at home. I have lived with and loved being around animals since I was a child and it’s really what sparked my interest in joining Happy Tails!
Paranoid parent is really the life I live. I remember buying a specific SUV because it would provide my special needs dog with the perfect amount of space and a window that rolled down so she could enjoy the fresh air while we were driving.
I would be more than happy to care for your furry children while you are away or at work. They will get exercise, food, water and playtime and I get to hang out with some cool pups and kitties. I always look forward to getting to know their unique personalities!

Erin is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, and Sleepover Care in the Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Suwannee areas. I have been a pet sitter in the Alpharetta/Atlanta area for over 12 years and I provide dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight stays for you and your pets. Growing up my family had dogs, a cat that adopted us, numerous sets of gerbils and a few school carnival fish so I’ve always had a love for animals and experience caring for them. I grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, and moved to the Alpharetta area after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in graphic design. Currently, I’m engaged to the most wonderful veterinarian and I’m the mom to a 13 year old terrier mix and two dachshund/pitbull puppies. They certainly keep me on my toes and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have experience with numerous different breeds of dog, cats, birds, and other exotics, as well as multiple animal homes. I also have experience with giving oral medications, specialty diets, animals with anxiety, walking 2 or 3 dogs together, and pets of all ages. I have been in Atlanta for over 30 years, 23 years in Dunwoody and recently we moved to John’s Creek a few years ago. With our daughter grown and out of the house, I am happily retired from the corporate world and love to take care of pets.
Being away from your pets should be worry free, knowing that they are in competent, caring hands. My husband and I have raised several rescue Dalmatians, a Portuguese Water Dog, a Black Lab and a Labradoodle. We have also raised hamsters, fish and canaries. We presently have just one dog, a Dalmatian named Ollie and two cats, Gatsby and Joey. We’re always looking for the next addition to our furry family! I provide dog walking, pet sitting and overnight care in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell. My wife and I have lived in the cities of Roswell and Alpharetta for over 20 years and know the area very well. As a family we have always had cats and dogs and made the decision long ago to adopt pets from rescue organizations that are in need of a loving and stable forever home. We have four dogs and one cat (all from rescue organizations) varying in ages from 4 to 13 so I have experience with puppies and kittens as well as elderly cats and dogs.
Inadvertently, for the last five or six years, we have two ducks that have adopted our swimming pool and return every summer for mating season. Even though our dogs bark at them like crazy, the ducks just ignore them and come and goes as they please. I am also a bird enthusiast and enjoy watching the different varieties of birds that visit the feeders in our backyard.
It would be an honor and privilege to have the opportunity meet you and your pets and do everything I can to ensure their comfort and happiness while you are away. Michael is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide dog walking service in the Alpharetta, Cumming, and Johns Creek areas. Way back when, I grew up on a Nebraska farm and was surrounded by all kinds of critters – big and small. I loved and cared for our cats, dogs, goats, and horses. The list really goes on. I just love them and they are a huge part of who I am. So, I completely understand your need to have someone trustworthy and reliable to care for yours.
I have lived in beautiful Georgia for over 20 years. I live in Johns Creek with my husband and two daughters. Our incredibly sweet rescue dog, Freddie, has been with us a little over a year. We adopted our kitties Chocolate and Princess Samantha (Sammy) in the fall of 2013. They bring us so much extra joy.
I will have a huge heart for your furry children. I will look forward to getting outdoors with them… for sniffing, exploring, walking and everything else. The Georgia outdoors is an amazing way to soothe their souls. I am glad to help and be part of their day until they see their favorite person/s again -YOU! Gaylene is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide Pet Sitting and Sleepover care in the Cumming and Alpharetta areas. I am a native Atlantan, having been born and lived in Kirkwood, south Decatur, Norris Lake, Roswell, Woodstock, and Cumming. I’ve always loved dogs and cats, and they have always liked and trusted me. My homes have always been shared with various rescued dogs and cats. The dogs have been all manner and sizes of mostly very mixed breeding (which I think of as All-American) ranging from a nine-pound ball of fluff to my current dog, Obi, who is a 95 lb black with white flag and touches, that I believe is part elk. The cats who have shared my lap and shoulders over the years have been a couple of pure Siamese and mostly black or black and white Domestic Shorthairs, as is my current feline, Cindar.
This love and enjoyment of animals, particularly dogs and cats, led me to work as an assistant to a veterinarian for 6 years during my teenage years, and then to enrolling in the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) as a Pre-Veterinary Medicine major. And later in life, guided me into being a Sentry Dog Handler in the U S Army, where I had the opportunity to not only handle my own large German Shepherd, Silver; but also got to instruct and train other dog handlers and their partners.
Having retired, and found myself with time I’ve wanted to fill, I have been a free-lance pet sitter from time-to-time; and I am now happy to work with Happy Tails and you! Don is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, and Overnight Care in the Alpharetta, Milton, and Cumming areas.
My love of animals started at a very early age when my mom would pick up every stray cat or dog she found. Since then I have always had dogs and cats. I personally have had several different breeds of dogs, including Pomeranians, greyhounds, and black and chocolate labs, most of which were rescued. Other animals that I have had includes cats, large outdoor KOI fish, hamsters, Hyacinth Macaw, Blue and Gold Macaw, and other types of smaller parrots. My Black Lab had diabetes, so I have plenty of experience giving insulin injections and oral medications.
I have lived in Alpharetta for 25 years. I am married with a daughter, and 2 sons. I currently have a 4 year old Pomeranian and a 15 year old feral cat I care for.
My goal is to keep your furry and non-furry pets feel safe and happy!
I provide Pet Sitting and dog walking in the Alpharetta and Johns Creek areas. I live in Johns Creek with my husband and our five year old son. I love all animals! I grew up with cats, dogs, birds, and turtles. I treat my animals as if they were my children. I have experience with caring for a variety of animals. After I had my son I decided to stay home with him so I became the neighborhood pet sitter.
I know how special our animals are to us so I ensure you, your pet is in good hands with me. I enjoy being outdoors and being active. My husband is the one who told me about being a dog walker because he knows my love for animals and with my son off to Kindergarten this job is perfect for me. I look forward meeting with you and your pets.
I provide Pet Sitting, Dog walking and Sleepover Care in the Cumming and Alpharetta areas. I’ve lived in the metro Atlanta area for 21 years. I have always had a strong love for all animals and believe that our pets are just as much a part of the family as the humans in our lives. I have been a veterinary technician for the past 6 years and there isn’t much that I haven’t seen or experienced when it comes to owing pets.
I currently have 4 dogs and a cat of my own who I could not live without. They all have such wonderful little personalities and it has been so fun watching them learn and grow. I have 3 pitbulls and a boxer, as well as a wonderful outdoor kitty named General Meow, who adopted me shortly after I moved into my new house in Cumming. He just showed up one day and never left.
My pets are my fuzzy family members and when I go out of town, it is important to me that they are left in good hands. I am definitely a paranoid pet parent. It is important that pets maintain their current feeding and walking schedules and there is no better place to do that then from the comfort of their own home. My love for my pets is the same for other people’s pets. It’s so comforting to know that your fuzzy friend is being taken care of by someone who loves them and will make sure that they get the gold standard of care while you are away.
As a veterinary technician, I am trained in a wide variety of skills. I am able to administer oral and subcutaneous medications, am well versed on different types of prescription diets, able to feed raw diets, and able to adhere to any other treatment plans that you pet may need. Should there be an emergency, I am able to give basic wound care and am pet CPR trained. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Samantha is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide Pet Sitting, Dog Walking and Sleepover Care in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. I am a native of Colorado, but have enjoyed Atlanta for 20 years now. I have provided pet care for people in their homes for over 6 years, and have been around animals my whole life. I love them! In addition to caring for many dogs and cats (etc.), I have worked in several barns caring for horses, another passion of mine! My services include feedings, walks, play time, overnights, and much more! I have experience with many animals including dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters, turtles, mice, guinea pigs, lizards, bunnies, fish, and even hermit crabs! My daughter and I have fostered and volunteered with rescue animals and currently have two cats and a dog. I took my dog through a year of training when she was a puppy, and enjoyed that so much. I will be there to give your furry babies the love and care they deserve when you can’t be. I am very comfortable being in other peoples homes, including sleeping over. I will take care of mail, trash, turning lights on and off, and basically house sit as well as furry friend sit. I am thorough and will leave your home as neat and tidy as you left it. I have given pills to cats and dogs, and insulin shots too. It would be a privilege to care for your furry kids!
I provide Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services in John’s Creek, Roswell, and Alpharetta. For as long as I can remember, dogs and cats have been part of my family. My sisters would bring home strays and all were taken in. I can remember one house we lived in that had a wonderful backyard where dogs could play and cats could find nesting places to have kittens. My two girls, now grown and away from home, did the same as my sisters, bringing home kittens that no one else could care for, or a dog from the shelter that won over our hearts. Charlie, our family dog, we found when our girls were in grade school, in a Georgia state park, abandoned as a pup.
We took him to the park rangers only to find all they could do was take him to the pound. So we took this flea bitten puppy back to our campsite, where the girls gave him a bath, and my husband and I tried to figure out our next step. There really was no choice. The girls were already attached to him, so we brought him home, and he is with us still, 12 years later, and an integral part of our family.
In the past I gained experience keeping a schedule for our Secretary of State here in Georgia, where being punctual and getting things right for speaking engagements or an appointments schedule were crucial, so I know the importance of being on time and following through on an assignment. And I enjoyed helping take care of our neighbors’ dogs and cats when they are out of town. Now our girls have flown away so Charlie and our cat, Punkin, have become our new family. Dog walking and pet sitting fits me like a glove. I enjoy being able to spend time getting outside and walking dogs and in general, all the tasks that go along with taking care of other family pets. They can be the best company! Deborah is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I provide pet sitting, dog walking, and house sitting services in the Roswell, Alpharetta, John’s Creek, and Sandy Springs areas. I always tell people up front I am that paranoid pet parent as well. I know how hard it can be for you to have a good time while worrying about your loved ones back home. My goal and hope is to make you comfortable with me, my skills and my genuine caring about your pet so that you can leave and know that I will do everything within my power to treat your pets as my own if not better. I am a born and raised Georgia native. I grew up in Roswell with my grandparents whom owned a farm. I have had all types of pets growing up including guinea pig, birds, cats, dogs and even a pet calf. I have been around animals my entire life. I worked for a vet’s office for 9 years just so I could be around animals. I also volunteer for rescue organizations. I currently have 3 dogs (2 rescues and a 14 year old Jack Russell that I have had since he was 6 weeks old) and 2 cats. I have a senior pet so I do know about the care that goes in to our special senior buddies. I am an animal lover who has never been without a pet. I am comfortable with all sizes from the small delicate dogs to our big and bold friends. Being a great pet sitter to me means treating my clients, both the 2 legged and 4 legged ones, with respect, patience and kindness. Serena is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I am a pet sitter, dog walker, and I also spend the night with your furry kids in the Cumming area. I enjoy taking care of all species of animals; it is a passion that I take pride in doing. I have worked with animals for 15 years grooming, providing daycare/boarding, and pet sitting; I also work with a couple of rescue groups in helping with the care of homeless animals looking for a new family. I am married with no human kids just 6 fur kids, 2 toy poodles, a standard poodle, a weenie dog, & 2 pit bulls, and 1 foster pit bull, 2 bunnies, a chinchilla, and a mini donkey that lives in Florida at the moment. I have had chickens, ducks, mini horses, a pony, a retired thoroughbred horse, and whatever dogs and cats I could sneak in at home. Everyone knows my favorite sayings are “I want one!” and “You can’t have too many!” when it comes to animals.
Originally from Boston (and yes, I do talk funny), I moved to Florida where my animal career started, and moved to Georgia a few years ago and have made this my permanent home. My animals are my entire life and they count on me for the best care and love possible. I look forward to caring for your fur kids and treating them as well as I treat mine.
I provide pet sitting and dog walking Services in the Cumming area. I’ve had pets in my life since childhood. Now I have great grand dogs in the “grown up years.” Not everyone is suited for a pet but those of us who have one or more share a common bond. Note that I didn’t say animal, I said pet because pets form a personal relationship with us; offering love, loyalty, companionship, comfort and always a listening ear. When I traveled for business and the occasional vacation and had to leave our pet I needed to know that someone responsible, caring and understanding was there to take care of my pets, to keep them safe and happy. It wasn’t easy to find that right someone.
Shortly after I retired from corporate America I decided I still had something to offer the business world. Instead of going into a stressful job however, I went into a stress relief job and I get that benefit daily just by stroking the heads, necks, ears and backs of your furry kids. It’s a win win situation for you, your pet and me plus I gain their trust and unconditional love. It’s a rewarding job.
Elizabeth – Pet Care Coordinator
I strive to place each pet parent with the pet sitter who most fits their needs and the needs of their furry family. I am happy to answer any and all questions related to how our service works and how we can make sure your pets are best taken care of.
I also act as a backup to all our pet sitters to insure that no matter what, someone will always be available to take care of your companion animals. I enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds, and making a living doing what I love is a dream come true! I share my home with two wonderful rescued cats and one great husband. I have several years of experience with dogs, cats, and fish of all sizes and shapes; from Teacup Terriers to Newfies, Siamese to Maine Coons, Guppies to Koi. I’m well-versed in administering injections, subcutaneous fluids, and medication to cats and dogs. I routinely brush my four-legged clients, and do my best to leave them more calm and happy than I when I arrived. I never go out without my pet sitting duffel bag, which includes: human and pet first aid kits, vet and client contact information, treats, fresh catnip from my garden, spare collars and leashes, towels, brushes and combs, cleansing cloths, doggy bags, flashlights and reflective safety gear for night walks. I look forward to speaking to you! Elizabeth is trained in Pet CPR & First Aid.
I am happy to be Owner Operator of Happy Tails, LLC. I have five children (three are furry children) and have been married for eight years. I have more than fifteen years of pet sitting experience and eighteen years experience with Foster Care, Animal Rescue and Service Dog training and volunteerism. I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from University of Florida (GO GATORS!). I started Happy Tails because I had a ‘Special Needs” dog and I turned my life around so I could accommodate her needs. We bought our truck because it was the only one where the windows rolled down all the way so she could stick her head out! In my quest to help my dog mentally and physically, I decided to establish a pet care service for parents that are obsessed and paranoid about their pets, like me. To my delight, we have been going and growing strong for over thirteen years.
I am the reason that Happy Tails began, and am VP of operations. I provide the insight and the canine point-of-view that is needed to ensure each pet is pampered in the way that we all deserve.
* All sitters with Happy Tails, LLC are independent contractors. Background checks are conducted to ensure the safety of your home and pets.
