Meet Your Sitter
Thanks to all of our wonderful clients for spreading the word, we continue to grow and expand. Below is some information about our extremely talented and caring staff. (Don’t worry, they are all fluent in “Woof” and “Meow”).
Katrina
I have five children (three are furry children) and have been married for almost five years. I have more than ten years of pet sitting experience and about 15 years experience with Foster Care and Animal Rescue. I have a degree in Business Admin and Marketing from University of Florida (GO GATORS!). I started Happy Tails because I have a ‘Special Needs” dog and I basically turned my life around so I could accommodate her needs. We even bought our truck because it was the only one where the windows rolled down all the way so she could stick her head out! In my quest to help my dog mentally and physically, I decided to start a pet care service for parents that are obsessed and paranoid about their pets, like me. To my delight, we have been going and growing strong for almost 7 years now.

I provide pet sitting and dog walking services for Alpharetta and Milton. I have lived in Milton for almost 20 years with my husband, and two children ages 13 and 15. Over 10 years experience Pet Sitting, caring for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Birds, Hamsters/Gerbils and even Goats. Hobbies include Competitive Horseback Riding, Running and Reading. I have over 10 years of pet sitting experience in the Milton/Alpharetta area for dogs, cats, birds. I have taken care of small farms in the Milton area that have dogs/cats and horses at the same time. Also very experienced with horse care-including feeding/turn-out, blankets on/off, giving medications and stall cleaning. I currently live on a farm in Milton and own two horses. I really enjoy walking and handling energetic dogs-can also take dogs for a run if needed. Currently I own a long hair chihuahua so I have a great understanding and appreciation of the smaller breeds, but have owned Labs in the past.
Elizabeth
I provide pet sitting, dog walking, and overnight services to clients in Alpharetta,
Roswell, and surrounding areas. I enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds, and making a living doing what I love is a dream come true! I share my home with three wonderful rescued cats, 45 prolific fish, and one great husband. I have several years of experience with dogs, cats, and fish of all sizes and shapes; from Teacup Terriers to Newfies, Siamese to Maine Coons, Guppies to Koi.
I’m well-versed in administering injections, subcutaneous fluids, and medication to cats and dogs, as well as caring for pets that have recently had surgery, or have been sick or injured. I routinely brush my four legged clients, and do my best to leave them more calm and happy than I when I arrived. I never go out without my petsitting duffel bag, which includes: human and pet first aid kits, vet and client contact information, treats, fresh catnip from my garden, spare collars and leashes, towels, brushes and combs, cleansing cloths, doggy bags, flashlights and reflective safety gear for night walks. I look forward to meeting you and your extended family!
Julie
I provide pet sitting and dog walking services for Roswell and Marietta. I am forty-nine, married with three children ages seventeen, fifteen, and eleven. I have lived in Atlanta since I was four. I was a high school English teacher for fourteen years and have been a stay-at-home mom for another fourteen. I have always loved animals and have had all kinds of pets throughout my life- dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, fish, and reptiles. My family and I have been fostering animals for several years through various rescue groups. It is very rewarding knowing we have saved lives and given joy to those who adopt our foster pets. I love working at Happy Tails. I told one client it is like being the favorite aunt who comes to play and bring treats. They are always happy to see me and they make me happy too.

I provide overnight care, dog walking and pet sitting services to clients in Cumming, Alpharetta, and Roswell. I have had animals all my life ranging from exotic birds to farm animals. I live in the city of Milton on a small family farm. As of right now, our family consists of 22 pets of our own including dogs, cats, birds, goats, horse, pig, and a donkey. We are, however, always rescuing some sort of creature, so our family is constantly growing and changing. In the attached picture are just two of my children as the others were busy causing trouble. I am certified in animal first-aid and CPR. I am extremely comfortable dealing with all types of animals, administering medications, and keeping living areas clean. I am an Eagle Scout and that gives me the confidence and patience needed to deal with animals. My sister and girlfriend are both veterinary technicians so I have 24-hour access should a need arise.

I am the reason that Happy Tails began, and now the VP of operations. I provide the insight and the canine point-of-view that is needed to ensure each pet is pampered to in the way that we all deserve.
